Key Responsibilities\n

• Offer personalized counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methods tailored to the client's unique needs.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to clearly identify the nature and extent of clients’ mental health conditions.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that outline the goals and strategies for therapeutic interventions.

• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of current counseling methodologies to ensure the highest standard of care.

• Build a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients to facilitate openness and effective dialogue during sessions.

• Actively collaborate with clients’ support systems, including family and other professionals, when necessary to enhance treatment efficacy.

• Document all client interactions and treatment progress effectively in our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

Your clients will include individuals from various backgrounds facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will engage with a diverse group of patients, ensuring culturally sensitive and personalized care that addresses their specific experiences and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in counseling or a closely related field is required.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster a supportive counseling environment.

• A proven ability to encourage clients to share personal experiences and foster a non-judgmental space.

• Strong problem-solving skills to develop customized treatment plans that effectively target clients' mental health issues.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in outpatient counseling settings is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this role is competitive, with compensation between $75,000 and $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
