Are you an aviation purchasing professional looking to join a growing aircraft engine MRO business supporting some of the industry’s most critical maintenance operations? We’re supporting a specialist engine repair and overhaul facility in Miami that is looking to hire a Buyer to support procurement activities across engine maintenance, repairs, tooling, consumables and subcontract services. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced aviation environment working closely with Production, Planning, Quality and Stockroom teams within a highly regulated FAA Part 145 operation. The Role: Buyer You’ll be responsible for sourcing and purchasing aircraft engine parts, consumables, tooling and repair services to support both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activity. Raising and managing RFQs with suppliers Negotiating pricing, lead times and commercial terms Processing purchase orders and coordinating deliveries Expediting critical materials to support engine turnaround times Managing subcontracted repairs including NDT, machining and plating Ensuring full aviation traceability and certification compliance Supporting supplier performance and cost reduction initiatives Working closely with production and stockroom teams to minimise downtime What We’re Looking For: Buyer 1–3+ years of purchasing, procurement or supply chain experience Aviation, aerospace or engine MRO experience strongly preferred Experience using ERP/MRP systems such as Quantum highly advantageous Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Comfortable working within a fast-paced, regulated aviation environment Important Eligibility Requirement Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
