Highlights Location: Manhasset, NY Facility: Northwell Health Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift What You'll Do Manage and lead team members, operations, and patient care activities within a patient care unit during assigned shift. Collaborate with team members and nursing management in developing methods and techniques for patient care. Communicate, build consensus, and guide team members toward achieving department objectives. Promote and maintain high-quality patient and family-centered care in a healing environment. Create a professional work environment that encourages respect, engagement, accountability, and optimal patient outcomes. Promote evidence-based, ethical, and compassionate practice. Provide direction and guidance to patient care unit team members during assigned shift. Conduct performance reviews and provide input into hiring, promotions, and corrective actions. Serve as a role model for standards of professional practice (clinical, educational, and leadership). Educate team members in new and existing department procedures and systems. Requirements Education Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required. Experience 4-6 years of nursing experience and 0-2 years of leadership/management experience required. 2+ years of endoscopy experience strongly preferred. Licenses & Certifications Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required. Specialized certifications as needed.
