Competitive Salary + Bonus Opportunity This role is scheduled for approximately 50 hours per week , which includes 10 hours of overtime . Based on this schedule, estimated annual earnings range from $70,000 to $85,000 , depending on hours worked. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, and business needs. In addition, this position is eligible for quarterly performance bonuses based on restaurant performance. Mike's Red Tacos is looking for a passionate, results-driven Assistant General Manager to help lead our Corporate Store & Training Center in Pasadena. As an Assistant General Manager, you'll partner with the General Manager to drive restaurant performance, develop team members, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and ensure operational excellence every day. This role is ideal for leaders who are ready to grow their management skills while helping build one of the fastest-growing brands in the industry. As part of our Corporate Store & Training Center, you'll help set the standard for the entire system by maintaining a "training-ready" environment that supports both guests and future restaurant teams. What We Offer Competitive salary Bonus opportunity Leadership development and career growth Work in our Corporate Store & Training Center Opportunity to help develop future restaurant leaders High-energy, team-oriented culture Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding brand What You'll Do Support the General Manager in leading daily restaurant operations Drive performance in sales, labor, food cost, and guest satisfaction Coach, develop, and motivate team members and Shift Leaders Execute and reinforce brand standards across all shifts Ensure food safety, sanitation, and operational compliance Support hiring, onboarding, and team development efforts Monitor guest feedback and drive exceptional guest experiences Maintain a clean, organized, and "training-ready" restaurant environment Partner with the Training Team to ensure alignment between training and restaurant execution Assume full operational leadership in the absence of the General Manager What We're Looking For 2–4+ years of restaurant leadership experience in a fast-paced environment Strong understanding of restaurant operations, food safety, and guest service Experience leading shifts, coaching teams, and driving accountability Working knowledge of labor management, food cost, and restaurant profitability Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to develop people and build high-performing teams Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus, but not required High school diploma required; AA or BA degree preferred Why This Role Matters As an Assistant General Manager in our Corporate Store & Training Center, you'll help define what great looks like across the Mike's Red Tacos system.
