Registered Nurse (RN) - Float

RN Float Pool

Schedule: Night Shift

Assignment Details: Contract length and guaranteed hours/week not specified.

Requirements

• Active Oregon RN State License required
• Current BLS certification
• Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 5 years required
• Critical Care/ED experience preferred
• ACLS certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire
• Workplace violence training must be completed by the end of the month after a 90-day grace period
• May be required to lift up to 50 lbs
• PALS and TNCC certifications preferred for specific groups

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in various units as assigned
• Perform assessments and develop appropriate nursing interventions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the healthcare team
• Assist in the training and supervision of nursing staff
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
