Locum - Physician - Oncologist Lima OH

Bon Secours Mercy Health St. Rita's Cancer Center is looking for Oncology coverage beginning November 2024!
Open dates:
Weekend Requirements : On call weekend coverage from Friday at 5pm until Monday at 7am. Rotated with other providers.
On Call Requirements : On call weekend coverage from Friday at 5pm until Monday at 7am. Rotated with other providers.
Open dates:
- November 2024 - ongoing
- Full time or 2 weeks per month
- Start date: November 2024
- Full-time availability is the priority, willing to take 2 weeks/month & Limited call.
- Inpatient and outpatient cancer patients - both adults & geriatric
- Caseload is 70-80% oncology and 20-30% hematology (APP's handle the majority of Hem pts.)
- Epic is the documentation system used by this facility.
- Average Number of patients per day (Inpatient): 16-18
- Average Number of Patients Per Day (Hospital, Call/Rounding): 6 (APP's to hospital rounds)
- Require duties: Tumor board, Blood bank, Order tests & images, prescriptions
- Number of physicians in practice: 3
- Number of APPs in practice: 3
- All bookings must be standard/economy
- Lodging must be within ####/night
- Anything beyond these parameters must be PRE-APPROVED
- Board Certified - REQUIRED
- Ohio State License - Highly Preferred; willing to consider IMLC candidates
- BLS Certified - REQUIRED
- Must be available at least 2 weeks/month or full-time - NOTE AT TIME OF NAME CLEAR
