Construction Sales RepresentativeA leading distributor of premium window and door products is seeking a motivated and results-driven Construction Sales Representative to support business growth through relationship development, new customer acquisition, and sales execution in the Grand Rapids, Michigan market. This role is responsible for identifying and securing new business with home builders, contractors, and remodelers, presenting tailored product solutions, and guiding customers through the sales and order process.The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly organized, and goal-oriented, with the ability to build lasting customer relationships and collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial contact through project completion.Construction Sales Representative Responsibilities:Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and CRM-driven outreachBuild and maintain strong relationships with home builders, contractors, and remodelers within the assigned territoryQualify customer needs and recommend appropriate window and door solutions based on project requirementsPresent product offerings, features, and value propositions to prospective and existing customersRespond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person with timely and accurate informationManage customer onboarding and initial order processes, ensuring all necessary information is collected and documentedCoordinate with internal teams (operations, customer service, and support staff) to ensure smooth order processing and deliveryTrack and manage customer interactions, opportunities, and pipeline activity within the CRM systemEnsure customer satisfaction by meeting expectations related to product quality, delivery timelines, and serviceMaintain ongoing relationships to support repeat business and long-term account growthMeet or exceed established sales and profitability goalsSupport marketing and business development initiatives as neededAttend frequent in-person meetings with customers at job sites, offices, or showroomsPerform additional duties as assigned to support overall sales effortsSchedule & Compensation:Schedule: Full-Time (field-based role)Compensation: $60,000-$100,000 + commission, based on experienceQualifications & Skills:Required:Proven ability to generate new business and manage a sales pipelineStrong verbal and interpersonal communication skillsExcellent organizational and time management abilities with attention to detailGoal-oriented mindset with a drive to meet or exceed sales targetsAbility to build and maintain strong customer relationshipsProficiency in or ability to quickly learn CRM systems and Microsoft Office toolsAbility to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneouslyValid driver's license and reliable transportationOccasional lifting of materials or product samples up to 50 lbs.Use of measuring tools and basic technical equipment as needed
