Key Information Location: New Collaborative Learning Trust Salary: School support staff salary scale, Band D (Points 5-6) Actual Salary £18,977-£19,278 (FTE £25,583 - £25,989) Contract Type: Part Time (32 Hours per week), Term Time Only. Contract Term: Permanent Closing Date: Thursday 23rd July Start Date: Tuesday 1st September About This Opportunity We are currently seeking a finance assistant to work with the Trust Finance Team to provide a high quality, efficient and effective finance services for the three secondary schools within our Trust. The role will be predominantly based at Brinsworth Academy but must be flexible to work across other secondary sites. Key aspects of the role will be processing transactions on the finance system including orders, invoices, obtaining authorisation, and dealing with queries. You must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, a keen attention to detail and an enthusiastic approach to your work. You will join a dynamic, core team that supports the operations of all the schools and colleges within our Trust. Our shared services support all of the schools and colleges across several areas, including Health and Safety, Finance, Estates, HR and MIS. Responsibilities Process financial transactions in the finance system. Manage orders, invoices and obtain necessary authorisations. Handle queries efficiently and provide support across secondary schools. Qualifications & Requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and enthusiastic approach. Experience in finance or accounting (optional). Ability to work part‑time (32 hours per week) and be flexible across multiple sites.
