HVAC Estimator

Job Description Job Posting: HVAC Estimator Position: HVAC Estimator Location: Las Vegas, NV Job Type: Full-Time We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HVAC Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial and/or residential HVAC projects, reviewing project plans and specifications, and collaborating with project managers, vendors, and clients to ensure competitive and profitable bids. Responsibilities Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents. Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare detailed cost estimates. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations. Prepare and submit competitive proposals and bid packages. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field personnel. Maintain accurate estimating records and cost databases. Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed. Identify value engineering opportunities to improve project competitiveness. Qualifications 3+ years of HVAC estimating experience (commercial preferred). Strong understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical construction, and building codes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications. Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Design-Build projects. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Trimble, FastPIPE, or similar estimating software. Associate's degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
