Managing Director – Professional Services & Managed Services | Remote
About the Opportunity
We’re seeking an entrepreneurial, results-driven Managing Director to lead business development for a growing professional services organization. This role is ideal for a proven sales leader with a strong track record of selling managed services and consulting engagements , building their own pipeline, and closing high-value deals with C-level executives.
Responsibilities:
- Drive new business through the sale of managed services, L&D-as-a-Service, and professional consulting solutions .
- Build and manage a self-generated pipeline by leveraging your personal network, industry relationships, and strategic prospecting.
- Develop relationships with C-suite executives and position solutions around business outcomes and long-term value.
- Identify and close large-scale consulting and managed services engagements.
- Establish yourself as a trusted advisor and thought leader within your target industries.
- Navigate complex, consultative sales cycles with a focus on long-term, high-value opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional services or consulting sales experience.
- Required: Proven experience selling managed services engagements — this is a critical requirement for the role.
- Demonstrated success closing $1M+ consulting or managed services deals.
- Ability to independently generate pipeline and leverage an established network to win new business.
- Proven track record selling directly to C-level decision-makers.
- Strong business acumen and a consultative, outcomes-driven sales approach.
- Experience in financial services, healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, or other regulated industries is a plus.
Compensation & Opportunity:
- Competitive compensation with uncapped commission potential.
- First-year earning potential of $250K+.
