A well-established insurance defense firm in the heart of Brickell is looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Insurance Defense Paralegal to join its growing team. What You'll Do Support attorneys through every phase of insurance defense litigation, from intake through trial Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and trial documents Manage case files, deadlines, and court calendars with precision Summarize medical records, depositions, and key case documents Coordinate with clients, experts, court reporters, and opposing counsel E-file in state and federal courts across Florida Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and witness materials Keep cases moving — anticipate what attorneys need before they ask What We're Looking For 10+ years of paralegal experience in insurance defense or civil litigation Strong knowledge of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and e-filing systems Experience with case management software (Clio, Filevine, ProLaw, or similar) Excellent writing, organization, and communication skills Ability to juggle multiple cases and deadlines without losing the thread Bilingual (English/Spanish) a strong plus Paralegal certificate or relevant degree preferred Why This Opportunity Top-of-market compensation — the firm pays for talent, period 1,500 billable hour requirement — reasonable, achievable, and respects your life outside the office Brickell location — walk to lunch, the bay, and everything else Real culture, not lip service — collaborative team, supportive partners, zero tolerance for toxicity Best coffee machines in town — they're serious about this.
