Quality Inspector

Inspector Level III

Required Skills & Experience: 8+ years related or prior experience as a quality inspector on a construction site. Knowledge of construction practices (i.e., formwork, rebar, concrete placing, etc.). Demonstrated skill and knowledge with applicable quality codes and standards and preferably NRC regulations. Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in an engineering, scientific, or construction-related discipline from an accredited college or university. Concrete construction experience. ISO quality standards. ACI certification.

Job Description: The Inspector Level III is responsible for defining inspection processes and certifying co-workers who perform inspections. He/she is certified in specific disciplines and has detailed understanding of applicable codes and/or standards. Certified by appropriate agency or organization to represent inspection for a given discipline under a specific quality management program. The Inspector Level III shall have sufficient practical background in applicable materials, fabrication, and product technology to establish techniques and to assist in establishing acceptance criteria when none are otherwise available.

Develops and Implements Inspection Plans

Responsible for the Certification of Inspectors

Ensures a Safe Work Environment

Coordinates with labor, other subs, GCs, Project Managers, etc.

Documents all activities in compliant format for RFI submittals
