A contract-based opportunity is available for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists, with positions beginning August 3, 2026, and running through May 20, 2027. Full-time roles (37.5 hours per week) are onsite, providing support for school-aged children throughout the academic year. With two openings available, there is flexibility in caseload assignments—tailored to your experience and preferences.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology licensure in the state of New Mexico
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech and language disorders
- Strong interpersonal skills and an enthusiasm for collaboration with educators and families
- Organizational skills necessary for managing documentation and case loads efficiently
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans for students in your assigned caseload
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy tailored to each child’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students’ success
- Engage in data collection, monitoring progress, and adapting interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing clear and compassionate guidance on student goals
