Support a primary care practice serving pediatric patients and multiple physicians in a balanced clinical and administrative role. The Medical Assistant will help deliver efficient, compassionate care by supporting patient intake, clinical procedures, documentation, education, and practice operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient intake and obtain vital signs.
• Collect and document medical histories.
• Assist physicians during examinations.
• Collect and handle patient specimens.
• Perform medication reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Educate patients and families on care instructions.
• Prepare examination rooms and clinical supplies.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in medical assisting.
• Medical assisting certificate or diploma from an accredited program.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
• Proficiency in vital signs measurement and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of phlebotomy and specimen handling.
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance and clinical documentation.
• Strong patient communication and team collaboration skills.
