Accounts Payable Specialist Cincinnati, Ohio (Remote must reside in Cincinnati, OH) $19.00$ 21.00/hour First Shift Contract-to-Hire
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering first shift hours with the flexibility to work remotely. Candidates must be located in the Cincinnati area.
Key Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Review, code, and enter invoices into the accounting system
- Match purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents (3-way match)
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to address invoice or payment issues
- Assist with weekly check runs and electronic payments
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation
- Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
Qualifications
- 1+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience
- Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail
- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred
Additional Details
- First shift, Monday through Friday
- Remote flexibility with requirement to reside in Cincinnati, Ohio
