Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Associate Attorney role based in Wall Township, NJ. The Associate Attorney will manage a caseload, draft and review legal documents, conduct legal research, and prepare memoranda, motions, and pleadings. Daily responsibilities include providing legal advice to clients, participating in negotiations, attending hearings and conferences, and supporting senior attorneys with case strategy and litigation preparation. The role involves regular client communication, case management, and collaboration with colleagues and staff to ensure timely and effective representation. The Associate Attorney is expected to maintain organized files, meet deadlines, and adhere to professional and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in customer service, people skills and communication required!
• thinking outside the box preferred
• Knowledge of General Ligation, Real Estate, Bankruptcy and Foreclosure Defense Law or related practice areas, with experience is helpful but not required.
• ability to work with a team and also drive issues forward independently required
• Ability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice to clients, including issue spotting and risk assessment.
• Proficient in legal Research, including use of online legal databases and preparation of research summaries.
• Solid Negotiation skills, with the ability to advocate effectively in settlement discussions and client communications.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in New Jersey (or eligibility for admission).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including attention to detail in drafting and editing legal documents.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with capacity to handle multiple matters and meet deadlines.
• Commitment to ethical practice, client service, and working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Prior law firm experience, litigation exposure, or clerkship experience is preferred but not required.
