Material Handler 1st Shift

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Material Handler 1st Shift to join their team. As a Material Handler 1st Shift, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting production, shipping, and receiving teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler 1st Shift

Location: Archdale, NC

Pay Range: $17/hr

Shift: 6:00AM - 4:30PM, Monday - Thursday

What's the Job?

Handle, store, and pick materials to support production and logistics operations
Operate forklifts and other equipment to transport and store materials safely
Use a laptop to perform SAP transactions for material management and respond to email requests
Maintain accurate records of parts, counts, and locations
Ensure the work area is organized and clean, including trash, recycling, and corrugated materials

What's Needed?

Basic computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; SAP experience is a plus
Good math skills and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings in English
Familiarity with measuring instruments such as scales and pallet jacks
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and climb ladders as needed
Willingness to obtain forklift certification if not already certified
