Release Train Engineer - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Release Train Engineer - Hybrid (3 days per week onsite) position with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This is a role for a self-directed leader responsible for transforming ambiguity into structured, executable work. This role operates independently to identify gaps, define priorities, and build the frameworks, documentation, and delivery practices required to enable consistent, scalable execution. The individual bridges business intent to delivery by establishing Agile practices, standardizing documentation, and leveraging Jira and data-driven planning to drive transparency, predictability, and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Operate independently to identify priorities, gaps, and execution risks without reliance on predefined processes
• Translate ambiguous business needs into clearly defined deliverables, workstreams, and actionable plans
• Drive clarity across stakeholders by defining scope, success criteria, and execution approach
• Establish and standardize business requirement documents, project plans, and roadmaps
• Create delivery and documentation frameworks
• Ensure all work is traceable, aligned to business objectives, and consistently structured for scale and reuse

Requirements:

• Strong ability to operate in ambiguity and build structure where none exists
• Expertise in requirements analysis and translation into execution plans
• Deep experience with Agile (JIRA and Confluence) delivery frameworks and Jira tooling
• Advanced skills in Excel-based planning, modeling, and tracking
• Proven ability to design scalable documentation and delivery frameworks
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional alignment skills
• Analytical, structured thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities

Pay range: $63.94 - $71.94 per hour
