About the Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join an established and successful private aviation brokerage with a strong presence across the US and international markets, taking responsibility for leading and growing its Commercial Jets division.

The business is looking for an experienced commercial aircraft charter professional who can combine hands-on new business with strategic leadership and team development.

You will take ownership of the division’s commercial growth, managing high-value client relationships, developing new business and overseeing complex commercial aircraft charter transactions.

Alongside remaining commercially active, you will have the opportunity to build and lead the Commercial Jets sales team , developing the division’s strategy and supporting the continued international growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Leading and growing the Commercial Jets division across the US and international markets

- Identifying and developing new commercial aircraft charter opportunities

- Managing and growing relationships with high-value existing clients

- Remaining hands-on with high-value and complex commercial charter transactions

- Managing the charter process from aircraft selection and pricing through to negotiation, contracting and final booking

- Developing and implementing the division’s sales and business development strategy

- Building, leading and developing the Commercial Jets sales team

- Coaching and performance-managing sales professionals to drive individual and team performance

- Developing strong relationships across the commercial aircraft operator and supplier market

- Ensuring incoming enquiries and client requests are handled efficiently and commercially

- Working closely with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of charter flights

- Representing the business at relevant industry events, client meetings and networking opportunities

What We’re Looking For

- 7+ years’ relevant aviation charter sales experienc e, specialising in commercial aircraft

- Strong background within commercial passenger / group charter

- Proven track record of generating revenue and exceeding sales targets within aviation

- Experience managing complex, high-value and time-sensitive charter transactions

- Strong understanding of commercial aircraft sourcing, pricing and contract negotiation

- In-depth knowledge of the US and international commercial aircraft charter markets

- Established commercial relationships across clients, operators and the wider charter market

- Previous experience managing, coaching and developing a sales team

- Strong new business development and client relationship management experience

- A hands-on commercial leader who is comfortable personally closing business whilst leading and developing a team

- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills

- Willingness to travel as required

- Must be authorised to work in the US
