SUMMARY OF POSITION: Best Roofing is a premier full-service commercial roofer that provides re-roofing/replacement, maintenance and repair, waterproofing and roof restoration. The Company is seeking a VP of Sales (“VPS”) to join our team. The VPS reports to the CEO and will play a critical role in the overall growth and revenue strategy for the Company. The Company competes in a ~$2 billion South Florida market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Leadership: Oversee, coach, and mentor the sales team, providing guidance to ensure high performance and alignment with overall business objectives. Set clear performance expectations and KPIs, ensuring each team member achieves their individual and collective sales goals. Sales Strategy Revenue Growth: Lead the development and execution of a sales strategy that drives new business, maximizes existing customer relationships, and grows revenue. New Business Acquisition: Identify new opportunities within existing markets, build relationships with high-value clients, and enhance close ratios to convert leads into contracts. Account Management Expansion: Foster strong relationships with key clients, upsell and cross-sell services to maximize revenue, and ensure client satisfaction for repeat business. Market Positioning: Collaborate with the Marketing team on refining the brand’s position to enhance visibility and competitiveness in the commercial roofing industry. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work with Operations, Marketing, and Estimating teams to ensure that sales initiatives are aligned with operational capabilities and client expectations. Sales Forecasting Reporting: Oversee the development of sales forecasts and manage reporting on key sales metrics to track progress and adjust strategies as needed. Negotiation Closing Deals: Lead contract negotiations with key clients, ensuring profitable terms and closing high-value deals. Industry Insights Trend Analysis: Stay informed of market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to continuously adjust the sales approach and maintain the company’s competitive edge.

SKILLS EXPERIENCE:

Proven experience as a Sales Leader, Account Manager, or Sales Director, with a strong background in the commercial roofing industry (or similar sectors such as construction or facilities management). High energy, self-motivated, and results-driven individuals with a passion for sales and leadership. Demonstrated success in leading and mentoring sales teams to achieve aggressive sales goals. Exceptional leadership and team-building skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop a diverse sales team. Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to close high-value deals. Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and sales performance tracking tools. Understanding of commercial roofing systems, construction contracts, and industry regulations (preferred). Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to drive business strategy and sales tactics. Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
