Human Resources Manager

Drive human resources strategy across recruitment, employee relations and equal opportunity employment by partnering with leadership to implement initiatives that achieve organizational objectives. As a Manager, Human Resources at Spectrum, you'll combine HR mastery and industry knowledge to evaluate and resolve complex issues in a fast paced environment. Your work will directly support Spectrum's ability to meet business goals. How You’ll Make an Impact Partner with leadership to design and implement short and long term HR strategies that support organizational objectives and simplify the customer experience Provide consultative HR support to managers and supervisors, including guidance on performance management, employee development and organizational change Ensure legal compliance with all applicable federal state and local employment laws, including Fair Labor Standards Act, Family and Medical Leave Act and Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act Oversee employee relations by conducting investigations, managing escalated issues including ethics reports, and ensuring company policies are administered fairly and consistently Oversee recruiting, staffing, onboarding and retention strategies while ensuring compliance with equal employment opportunity, Federal Communications Commission and affirmative action requirements Manage HR operations including payroll and commission processing, benefits enrollment, unemployment and workers compensation claims, HRIS maintenance and HR communications Lead and develop direct reports, participate in labor relations negotiations and enterprise taskforces, and manage departmental budget and expenses Working Conditions Office environment Some travel as required What You’ll Bring to Spectrum Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, organizational behavior, related field or equivalent Experience 5+ years of Human Resource Generalist experience in a multi-location environment Skills Clear written and verbal communication skills with all levels of company personnel Ability to speak in a public forum Ability to effectively manage and lead projects Effective supervisory skills Ability to maintain confidentiality of information Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure Demonstrated PC and Microsoft Office skills Ability to work independently and prioritize and organize effectively Knowledge of local state and federal employment laws and procedures Knowledge of recruitment trends and technologies Knowledge of wage and hour laws Knowledge of staffing and employment practices Knowledge of employee relations procedures and applicable law Preferred Qualifications Education Master's degree Certifications for human resource professionals (PHR, SPHR) Experience 2+ years of management or leadership experience Licenses Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record within company standards #LI-LYR HGN505 2026-78039 2026 Here, our employees don't just have jobs, they're building careers. The base pay for this position generally is between $80,300.00 and $142,300.00 . The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
