They recruit nationally for manufacturers, distributors, contractors, and other companies across exterior and interior building products, MEP, structural building products, steel construction, kitchen and bath, distribution and retail, and related markets. This is a remote position. If you live in or near Grand Rapids, MI, our client would love to have you in the office, but they will hire the right recruiter from anywhere. This is not a “ post the job and wait for applicants” recruiting position. Our client’s recruiters hunt for talent, and the phone is how they do it. Their team collectively spends nearly 230 hours per week on the phone sourcing and screening candidates, and every recruiter makes 80–100 calls a day. As an Associate Recruiter, you will find and recruit high-quality candidates, build relationships within your assigned market, conduct detailed candidate interviews, and connect the right people with the right opportunities. As you grow, you will also develop new job openings with existing and prospective clients.
