Whether you will spend your day brainstorming in an office cubicle, operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment or troubleshooting technical obstacles, at CMC, you'll get the training and support from your team that you need to excel in your role and reach your full potential.What You'll DoLead daily plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, and shipping activities Drive a culture of safety by promoting safe work practices and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations Monitor production and quality performance to meet customer expectations and operational goals Coordinate people, equipment, and resources to maximize productivity and efficiency Manage labor and operating costs while supporting production objectives Oversee plant equipment, facilities, and preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime Identify and implement process improvements that enhance safety, quality, and operational performance Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant facility Coach, develop, and support supervisors and production employees Collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational challenges and achieve plant goalsWhat You'll Need5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, concrete products, construction materials, or a similar industrial environment Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and team-building skills Knowledge of manufacturing operations, maintenance practices, quality systems, and production planning Experience managing production performance, labor resources, and operating costs Knowledge of industrial equipment and preventive maintenance programs Strong problem-solving, decision-making, planning, and organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems Working knowledge of applicable safety, environmental, and employment regulations Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, quality, and continuous improvement Ability to work flexible hours and perform the physical requirements of a manufacturing environment High School Diploma or GED requiredWe are CMC, a Fortune 500® company at the leading edge of our industry.
