Maintenance Mechanic
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to our operations and will involve performing emergency maintenance and repairs, greasing machines, inspecting for mechanical lag, checking bearings and motors, and conducting mechanical checks followed by preventative maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct emergency maintenance and repairs.
- Grease machines and ensure smooth operation.
- Inspect for mechanical lag and rectify issues.
- Check bearings and motors for optimal performance.
- Perform mechanical checks and preventative maintenance.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in maintenance techniques, including preventive maintenance.
- Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Familiarity with blueprints and schematics.
- PLC troubleshooting skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, MD.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
