American Impact and Energy is looking for a Sales Team Manager to lead our door-to-door appointment-setting team. This is a hands-on field leadership role where you'll recruit, train, coach, and motivate sales representatives who knock on doors and speak directly with homeowners to generate qualified appointments.

This is not a desk-based management position . You'll spend significant time in the field alongside your team, demonstrating effective door-to-door techniques, coaching representatives through real customer interactions, and helping the team improve its results.

What You'll Do

As a Sales Team Manager, you'll help your team generate qualified appointments through direct, door-to-door outreach .

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead and coach a team of door-to-door appointment setters .

• Spend time in the field alongside your team and lead by example.

• Train new representatives on door-knocking, canvassing, customer engagement, and appointment-setting techniques.

• Demonstrate how to confidently approach homeowners and start conversations.

• Coach representatives on how to build rapport and handle objections.

• Help team members qualify homeowners and identify potential opportunities.

• Set daily and weekly activity and appointment goals.

• Monitor team performance and appointment-setting results.

• Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support.

• Help create a positive, accountable, and motivated team culture.

• Identify opportunities to improve field activity, appointment quality, and team performance.

• Help recruit and develop new team members.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a hands-on sales leader who is comfortable working door-to-door and outdoors and understands what it takes to succeed in field sales.

• Previous experience managing, leading, or coaching a sales team.

• Previous door-to-door, canvassing, field sales, or appointment-setting experience .

• Strong face-to-face communication skills.

• The ability to confidently approach homeowners and start conversations.

• Experience handling objections and rejection.

• Strong coaching and people-development skills.

• The ability to motivate a team while holding team members accountable.

Important: This Is Door-to-Door Field Sales

Please understand that this is a hands-on door-to-door sales leadership position.

You and your team will spend time walking assigned neighborhoods, knocking on homeowners' doors, starting conversations, qualifying prospects, and setting appointments .

This role is best suited for someone who is comfortable working outdoors, approaching people they don't know, and handling the normal rejection that comes with door-to-door sales.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Valid driver's license required.

• Reliable personal vehicle required.

• Comfortable traveling within the assigned territory.

• Comfortable working outdoors and walking neighborhoods.

• Comfortable approaching homeowners and initiating face-to-face conversations.

• Ability to work in a field-based environment.
