ABOUT THE ROLE

The Mfg. Maintenance Technician will oversee multiple locations and perform various tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. They will install and inspect machines and electrical equipment and carry out preventive maintenance to ensure industrial machines remain operational.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipmentby completing preventive maintenance. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices inoperation. Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defectiveparts. Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring variousinstruments. Maintains inventories of equipment, parts andsupplies. Trains production workers on routine preventivemaintenance. Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions andrequests. Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information andtrends. Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, andregulations. Requisitions supplies and materials needed for repairs andmaintenance. Must have reliable transportation to maintain multiple company facilities. Performs other related duties asassigned.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

High school diploma or equivalent isrequired. Associates degree or technical school trainingpreferred. 5+yearsofrelatedmechanicexperienceworkinginamanufacturingsettingishighlypreferred. Valid Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance. Ability to operate machinery and technical equipment. In depth knowledge of systemmaintenance. Able to follow instructions fromsupervisors. Familiarity with safety standards and regulations. Excellent organizational and timemanagement. Good communication, basic computer, and reporting writingskills. Prolonged periods standing andwalking. Must be physically able to climb, bend, or crawl into awkwardspaces. Must be able to lift and move heavyequipment.
