Job Description

Provides clinical services to veterans diagnosed with a severe mental illness (SMI). This population of veterans receives a variety of supportive services through the PRRC, a program designed to adhere to VHA guidelines for Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery Centers. Programming will include such elements as recovery education, evidence-based wellness management psychoeducation, peer support, family education, social skills training, and/or service coordination. Assistance is offered to help maximize the veteran's ability to live a productive and meaningful life in the community of choice. Responsible for the development and provision of professional social work services to programs within the Mental Health Service, and specifically to PRRC. Independently provides clinical and psychosocial interventions, along with case management services at an advanced practice level to eligible veterans and their caregivers to meet biological, psychological, social and environmental needs, in accordance with VHA mission and professional standards. Performs other directly related duties as assigned.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
