Using excellent customer service and communications skills, your primary duties in this role include:

• Acts as a working supervisor, providing superior leadership and excellent communication skills while demonstrating professional standards for staff to exemplify.
• Ensures the successful operations of the department, using continuous improvement efforts and ensuring standard operating procedures are documented, current, and well communicated to staff.
• Coordinates day-to-day office functions, ensuring staff meet performance standards for call handling, scheduling accuracy, registration quality, orders follow-thru and patient satisfaction.
• Identifies training needs, conducts regular coaching sessions, and provides opportunities for ongoing learning and skill-building.
• Partners with the Manager/Director to review and enhance workflows, develop and update standard operating procedures, and ensure consistency across the team.
• Monitors performance metrics, attendance, and productivity, ensuring team members are meeting departmental goals and expectations.
• Acts as the primary point of contact for escalated patient issues, staff concerns, and interdepartmental coordination.
• Ensures patient confidentiality, accurate documentation, and adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
• Performing additional administrative and support tasks as assigned.

Salary:

Hiring range, based on experience and credentials: $32.90-$44.52 per hour.

Workdays: This role is located at 2 clinics. The Oregon Clinic Neurosurgery in SW Portland and NE Portland. Typical hours are Monday-Friday, (8:00 am-5:00 pm).

Qualifications that support success in this role are based on education, experience and values including:

• Minimum of two (2) years of previous medical leadership/supervisor experience is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) EPIC experience is required.
• Previous multi-phone line experience in a healthcare setting required.
• Prior experience with supply/inventory management preferred.
• Minimum 2 years previous experience with patient access workflows (scheduling, triage, referral management, insurance verification).
• Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask.
• Previous experience overseeing large team member schedules and task assignments required
• Excellent attendance, time management, and work ethic.
• Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members.
• A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.
