RV Service Technician

RV TechnicianWe're looking for a motivated and hands-on RV Technician to join our service team. In this role, you'll assist in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing recreational vehicles (RVs), including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems. You'll work under the guidance of experienced technicians and service managers to develop your skills and gain confidence in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.Key ObjectivesContribute to a high-performing service team by being dependable and meeting service timelinesDevelop technical knowledge in RV systems, tools, diagnostics, and repairs through on-the-job trainingSupport customer satisfaction by ensuring quality work, timely service, and a helpful attitudeResponsibilitiesInspect units for customer salesLearn and execute a Get Ready and customer orientationAssist with inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of RV systems including electrical, plumbing, propane, HVAC, and carpentryMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Help with the installation of accessories and aftermarket partsDocument completed work accurately and assist with service records.Follow all safety standards and company procedures while working with power tools and hazardous materials.Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors regarding progress or issues with repairs.Attend training sessions and stay updated on RV systems and service practices.What You'll BringStrong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learnBasic knowledge of hand tools and power toolsAbility to follow instructions and work well in a teamA positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to quality workHave a set of personal toolsThe ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for long periods of timeThe ability to lift anywhere from 25 to 50 lbs with an assistive deviceWork in environments that include heat, cold, dust, and loud noisesFlexibility with work schedules; including Saturdays (we are always closed on Sundays)Neat, clean, and professional appearanceAbility to pass a background and drug testDemonstrate alignment with the Company's vision, mission, and core values in all interactionsExpected ResultsImprove repair speed and accuracy with minimal supervision over timeDemonstrate growing technical knowledge and customer service skillsContribute to increased customer satisfaction and service department efficiencyProgress through Bish's RV TEC program and obtain certifications and skillsResourcesOn-the-job training from experienced techniciansPaid training sessions and certification opportunitiesPersonal protective equipment (PPE) and uniformsCareer advancement paths within the companySupportive, team-based work cultureWho We AreBish's RV is one of the largest family-owned RV dealers in the country.
