Operations Lead

Read Write Learning Center is seeking an Operations Lead to help strengthen and grow our Baldwin County branch in Daphne, AL. The Operations Lead takes ownership of day-to-day branch operations, improves systems and scheduling capacity, supports instructors, and helps expand the number of students we serve. In addition to operational leadership, this role also provides direct instruction using our Orton-Gillingham-based academic language therapy program. Key Responsibilities Branch Leadership & Growth Own day-to-day operational excellence. Improve systems, scheduling capacity, and enrollment flow. Identify inefficiencies and implement practical solutions. Provide consistent leadership and support to instructors. Partner with branch and corporate leadership to grow our impact in Baldwin County. Operations Build and manage the master schedule. Coordinate substitutes and make-up sessions. Maintain materials and a professional office environment. Build scalable systems that support branch growth. Direct Instruction Deliver high-quality academic therapy in one-on-one tutoring sessions. Build strong relationships with students and families. Serve as an active member of the Branch Leadership Team. About Our Leadership Structure Read Write Learning Center's branch leadership team covers three key areas: educational consulting, instructional leadership, and operations. In Baldwin County, roles may focus on one area or combine two, depending on the strengths, experience, and interests of the successful candidates. We are open to several possible combinations and encourage candidates whose strengths extend beyond this role to apply. All leadership roles are designed within a 40-hour workweek. Team members who own one leadership area typically spend a significant portion of their week providing direct instruction; combined leadership roles carry a reduced instructional caseload so there is dedicated time for both leadership functions. Ability to manage multiple operational priorities while maintaining accuracy and follow-through. Comfort leading others and providing direct instruction to students. Location Hours 40 hours per week, 47 weeks per year. Typical Allocation Approximately 15 hours of operations and 25 hours of instruction per week for a standalone Operations Lead role. Schedule Afternoons required; exact schedule is flexible. Examples include 10:00-5:30 Monday-Friday or 8:30-5:30 Monday-Thursday with a half day Friday. Compensation $25-$31.91/hour (approximately $47,000-$60,000 annually). Based on 40 hours/week and 47 weeks/year.
