Job Description Benjamin Charney - Farmers Insurance Agency is looking for a confident, motivated individual who wants to build a career in insurance sales. You do not need prior insurance experience to be successful in this role. If you have a background in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, or another results-driven environment, or you're simply looking for an opportunity where your effort directly impacts your income, we want to hear from you. As an Agent Trainee, you'll learn the insurance business while developing the sales skills needed to build relationships, generate new business, and grow within the agency. While your primary focus will be developing into a strong sales producer, you'll also gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of an insurance agency, including customer service, marketing, lead management, performance tracking, and business development. This role is designed to give you a strong foundation in the industry while creating opportunities to take on greater responsibility as you grow. Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales. Prospecting and generating new business through agency-funded leads & referral sources. Presents and explains insurance policy options based upon prospective client needs and their personal goals. Outbound calling for warm/hot leads Assess and identify the wants and needs of your customer(s) over the phone. Requirements Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable. Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude. Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency. Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up. Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills. Prior Sales Experience. Professional phone etiquette. Career minded vision. Problem-Solving Capabilities.
