The facility operates as an outpatient primary care clinic delivering clinic-based services to an adult patient population within a structured clinical environment. The clinic maintains established workflows to support consistent and coordinated care delivery throughout the assignment period. Credentialing for this assignment is estimated at a few days.

The assignment area is a historic city offering a broad range of activities suited to varied interests. Visitors may explore landmarks along the Freedom Trail, take scenic ferry rides with skyline views, or visit interactive exhibits at the Museum of Science. Distinct neighborhoods featuring brick sidewalks and gas lamps, alongside options for cycling, trolley tours, food tours, and open-air markets, make the area a destination with broad appeal.

Clinicians will provide outpatient primary care services to an adult patient population at an on-site clinic, working Monday through Friday on four 10-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a caseload of up to 16 patients per day. Clinical responsibilities encompass the evaluation and management of primary care conditions, with a focus on type 2 diabetes, including management with oral diabetes medications, GLP agents, and insulin. Clinicians with at least one year of primary care experience and demonstrated experience managing type 2 diabetes are preferred; those with diabetes specialty experience will be considered for patients with complex diabetes needs. A PA license, DEA registration, and prescriptive authority are required for this assignment; board certification is negotiable.
