Specialized Operations Associate

Responsibilities General Office Opening the store: safe, controller, registers and distributing reports Morning cash entry, processing bank deposits, reconciling chargebacks, and counting register and petty cash Resolving customer issues, researching/payment of bills, tracking/processing customer packages Jewelry Operations Follow Jewelry Standards and Shipping Guidelines Receive, verify, and properly book all jewelry in accordance with Company standards Process re-tickets, RTVs, Transfers, ASN Shipments and price changes Retrieve and process all merchandise to be returned/transferred to the vendor in accordance with Company standards Ensure case counts are completed; all merchandise is entered into the case count system and discrepancies reconciled Maintain a repair log, track all repairs sent to the vendor or local shop, and submit repair invoices Receive and verify all merchandise for trunk shows, assist in show set‑up/take‑down and recap results Prepare and submit all special order requests and Statements of Sale when requested Communicate with Corporate Merchants, Account Payable, Inventory Control and vendors as needed Maintain audit readiness of vault/safe contents Assist managers and associates on the selling floor as necessary Process Fulfillment orders Ad‑hoc responsibilities as needed Qualifications Ability to lift cartons up to 15 lbs, climb ladders, and handle racks and carts of merchandise Strong computer skills (Google, MS Office) and adaptability to changing technology Team‑oriented, fast‑paced work style with high multitasking and minimal supervision Flexible schedule that meets business needs and adherence to Dependability standards Attention to detail and organized personal workspace Ability to apply store policies and procedures to assist in decision‑making Verbal and written communication skills; handles telephone and face‑to‑face interactions professionally Maintains confidentiality when handling issues Willingness to participate in other store initiatives as assigned by management Your Life and Career at Saks Fifth Avenue Opportunity to work in an innovative environment during transformational growth Exposure to rewarding career advancement opportunities across the largest multi‑brand luxury retailer Comprehensive benefits package for all eligible full‑time employees (medical, vision, dental) Employee discount program Salary and Other Benefits Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include market, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
