Fractional HR Generalist

Fractional HR Generalist | Position Overview We are looking to onboard a Fractional HR Generalist for 10-15 hours per month on average to work with us - Jennie Ripps | LinkedIn | Maria Littlefield | LinkedIn - on building out our People Operations function. We are looking for someone that has partnered with a Founder(s) before, ideally in a consumer-products/brand management driven company. Bonus points if you have operated in an outsized field sales environment. We are looking for an organizational strategist and team builder that can be hands‑on and build out our people policies, procedures, governance, tech stack and systems, and more. Core Responsibilities Full‑life cycle recruiting, including but not limited to: building strong business partnerships with Hiring Manager by developing effective recruiting strategies, source and identify candidates, review and screen resumes, and interview candidates of all levels including management roles and effectively manage applicants from application to onboarding. Ensure competitive compensation for talent acquisition and retention, and build the merit review process company‑wide. Support for all benefit related questions and issues company‑wide. Lead employee relations and engagement, and become the culture leader for this company. Ensure consistency and fairness in policy and procedure; also as it relates to Federal and State law requirements. Facilitate various training as needed in the areas of management & overall associate development, diversity, harassment, new hire orientations, and performance management. What We Are Searching For Bachelor's degree in related field; equivalent work experience. HRCI or SHRM Certification in Human Resources a plus. 3-5 years generalist human resources or other related business experience, including behavioral interviewing, employment, training, employee relations, compensation, diversity, management/organizational development, risk management and loss control. Ability to work effectively with all levels of associates and management. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and influence others. High degree of initiative; proven team player, excellent customer service skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
