Sr. Tax Manager

We are a mid-sized, 50-person public accounting firm looking for a Sr. Tax Manager to oversee tax our tax department and planning for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role is responsible for ensuring that all tax returns are prepared accurately and in compliance with federal and state regulations. The ideal candidate will lead a team of tax professionals and provide strategic guidance on tax matters to clients and internal stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise the preparation and review of various tax returns including 1040, 1041, 1120, and 1120SA.Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients.Lead and develop a team of tax professionals, ensuring high standards of performance and professional development.Coordinate and communicate with clients regarding tax compliance and planning matters.Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, and assess their impact on client situations.Assist in the development of tax policies and procedures within the firm.QualificationsBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree or LLM in Taxation is preferred.Active CPA certification is required.Minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax compliance and planning.Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.Demonstrated experience in managing and supervising teams in a professional environment.
