Job Description
Certified Athletic Trainer Intern working with NCAA Division I student athletes. Provide medical care, practice and game coverage for assigned sports, supporting injury prevention and rehabilitation efforts within a collegiate sports environment that occasionally requires travel.
Responsibilities
- Assess and treat sports-related injuries promptly and effectively
- Provide medical care during practices and games for assigned NCAA sports teams
- Support rehabilitation programs to facilitate athlete recovery
- Respond to emergencies with appropriate medical interventions
- Maintain accurate injury and treatment documentation
- Collaborate closely with athletes, coaches, and medical staff
- Implement preventive care strategies to reduce injury risk
Required Qualifications
- CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in athletic training
- Knowledge of Athletic Training principles and injury assessment
- Experience or training in emergency care and patient rehabilitation
- Background in sports medicine
