Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote and accommodates a telehealth work setting, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from your own home while providing care to clients across New York. Our practice operates Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility needed based on patient demand and availability. Utilizing modern telehealth platforms enables you to maintain strong therapeutic relationships while adapting to the unique needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, employing tools and frameworks to accurately identify individual needs and challenges, and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, adapting techniques based on the specific needs of clients.

• Facilitate engaging psychoeducational and support groups, fostering a sense of community and connection among participants dealing with similar mental health issues.
\n
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate and deliver holistic care that addresses all aspects of a client’s well-being.

• Provide crisis intervention services, employing de-escalation techniques and immediate support during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and families about mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and available community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their care.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation adhering to legal and ethical standards, ensuring that all patient records are up-to-date within our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Actively engage in team consultations, case discussions, and professional development activities to enhance service delivery and personal growth.

• Stay informed on current research and advancements in the field, continuously integrating new knowledge into your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on serving children, adolescents, and their families. You will support clients from diverse backgrounds, encountering a wide array of mental health concerns—including, but not limited to, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will engage with individuals and families to cultivate resilience, improve coping strategies, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as either an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT within the state of New York is mandatory.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders, contemporary treatment modalities, and effective therapeutic practices.

• Proven ability to carry out comprehensive assessments and formulate impactful treatment strategies.

• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy to a varied clientele is essential.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on building therapeutic alliances.

• Adherence to ethical standards and professional boundaries in all client interactions.

• Proficiency with EHR systems and other technology essential for telehealth delivery.

Preferred Experience\n

• Master's degree or higher in a relevant mental health discipline is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
