Job Description Role: Loader / Operator Job Summary: Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the Loader / Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of finished goods. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, particularly in forklift operation, and the ability to work from a pick list to locate and move materials accurately. Compensation: $23.88/hr. Work outdoors in various weather conditions. Communicate with drivers to ensure accurate and safe loading/unloading. Use pick lists to locate materials in the yard or warehouse. Identify product locations using signage and apply FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles. Direct truck drivers to appropriate loading/unloading areas. Support other shipping and scale house duties as needed. Adhere to all IKO safety policies and procedures. Qualifications Required: Able to work flexible shifts 8/10/12 hours. Minimum 2 years of proven forklift operating experience preferred. Comfortable with working in a dusty environment. Manual dexterity and attention to detail. Fluent in verbal and written English. Ability to follow direction and specific instructions. Good communication skills. Able to pass forklift certification class and test. Able to read and interpret pick lists. Willing to work overtime, including weekends. Must pass a fit-for-duty physical. Capable of lifting up to 76 lbs unassisted. High school diploma or GED required.
