Manager, Warehouse Operations Full Time Management Miami, FL, US 2 days ago Requisition ID: 3168 About the Role We are seeking a Manager, Warehouse Operations to join our team at Independent Living Systems (ILS). ILS, along with its affiliated health plans known as Florida Community Care and Florida Complete Care, is committed to promoting a higher quality of life and maximizing independence for all vulnerable populations. The Manager, Warehouse Operations is responsible for overseeing all warehouse, inventory, and delivery operations for the Home Medical Equipment (HME) department. This role ensures the efficient, accurate, and compliant receipt, storage, maintenance, distribution, and delivery of durable medical equipment (DME) and related supplies. The Manager, Warehouse Operations will be leading warehouse associates and delivery technicians, maintaining inventory integrity, overseeing fleet and delivery operations, and driving operational excellence through process improvement, technology utilization, and staff development. Additionally, this position plays a critical role in supporting the safe handling, maintenance, delivery, and retrieval of respiratory and other life-sustaining medical equipment. Ensuring compliance. The role also serves as a hands‑on operational leader who can step into warehouse or delivery functions as needed to ensure continuity of service and patient care. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Three (3) to five (5) years of experience overseeing warehouse, logistics, distribution, or delivery operations, including inventory control, warehouse management, and delivery coordination. Minimum one (1) year of supervisory or team leadership experience. Experience with inventory management systems and operational technology platforms. Valid driver's license and ability to meet organizational driving requirements. Ability to lift and move equipment and routinely work within a warehouse environment. Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME) industry experience. Knowledge of DME equipment, fleet operations, equipment maintenance, and regulatory requirements applicable to healthcare and DMEPOS operations; familiarity with CMS, DOT, OSHA, HIPAA, FDA, and accreditation standards preferred. Experience supporting respiratory equipment programs, including oxygen therapy and related equipment. Familiarity with Brightree or other DME management software. Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory management, and distribution of medical supplies. Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and organized work environment. Develop inventory control and asset management processes to ensure accurate tracking, reduced loss, and optimized resource utilization. Manage warehouse and fleet operations to ensure efficient workflow, safety compliance, timely distribution, and cost‑effective logistics performance. Coordinate regulatory compliance and accreditation readiness efforts to maintain adherence to industry standards, audit preparedness, and organizational integrity.
