Manager of Administrative Support Services

Our client, a leading global professional services organization located in downtown Houston, is seeking a Manager, Administrative Support Services to oversee and elevate a high-performing administrative support function. This individual will lead a team of administrative professionals, drive operational excellence, implement best practices, and ensure exceptional support is delivered across the organization. The ideal candidate will be a strong people leader with experience building teams, developing talent, improving processes, and managing service delivery in a fast-paced professional environment. This is a fully onsite position working standard business hours, 40 hours per week, in a direct hire capacity. Job Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of administrative support professionals Oversee day-to-day administrative operations and service delivery standards Manage staffing, performance management, coaching, and employee development initiatives Drive process improvement and operational efficiency across administrative functions Partner with leadership to identify resource needs and workforce planning strategies Establish and maintain performance metrics and service level expectations Support change management initiatives and administrative team transformation efforts Collaborate with practice groups and business leaders to ensure support needs are met Resolve escalated personnel, workflow, and operational issues Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, professionalism, and client service excellence Qualifications: 7+ years of progressive administrative support, operations, or professional services experience Previous people management experience leading administrative or support teams Experience within legal, financial services, consulting, or other professional services environments strongly preferred Proven ability to manage employee performance, coaching, and professional development Strong operational mindset with experience improving workflows and team effectiveness Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Demonstrated leadership presence and sound decision-making abilities High degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort learning new technologies and business systems Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
