Job Information Job area: Managerial Division: Solutions Job Posting Title: Supervisor II Time Type: Full Time POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading warehouse operations across multiple shifts, providing advanced operational oversight and people leadership. The role partners with the Operations Manager, supports labor scheduling, space utilization, equipment management, and cost control, while driving performance through proactive planning and continuous improvement. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct staff meetings to review daily and weekly work activities, plan workload, and support continuous improvement. Inform management and client representatives of operational issues that may impact service, safety, or cost. Lead and oversee larger, multi‑shift or higher‑complexity operations within the facility. Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance to Supervisors and lead team members. Partner closely with Operations Management to support operational planning, staffing strategies, and workload forecasting. Proactively identify operational risks, trends, and improvement opportunities and develop action plans. Ensure consistent execution of SOPs, safety standards, and quality requirements across teams. Drive achievement of productivity, service, safety, and financial KPIs. Support cost control initiatives and lead continuous improvement projects. Act as the primary escalation point for complex employee relations, performance, or operational issues. Participate in workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development activities. Support implementation of new processes, systems, or client requirements. Communicate effectively with senior leadership and client representatives on operational performance and risks. Review operational data and metrics to guide decision‑making. Support audits, compliance reviews, and corrective action plans. Assist in physical operations as needed to ensure service continuity. SKILLS & ABILITIES Education & Experience High school diploma or GED. Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, or a related environment. Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience. Experience leading complex operations, multiple teams, or shifts. Advanced material handling equipment (MHE) knowledge and certifications preferred. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations Successful completion of a forklift training program. Computer Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with RF scanners and WMS functions. Language Skills Business communication proficiency. Mathematical Skills Basic to intermediate level for quantity verification and inventory tasks. Other Key Skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and personnel management skills. Effective written and oral communication. Leadership, supervision, and planning capabilities. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends. Adaptability to change and fast‑paced work environments. Capability to work overtime as required. Tolerance for temperature variations within the warehouse. Actual compensation will be determined based on job‑related factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
