About the Role

As the AI Content Expert, you'll have the opportunity to craft and execute content and social strategies for Abaka AI across X, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

Your main responsibilities will involve writing social media content and articles, scheduling posts, monitoring social media channels and trends, and engaging with our community and KOLs to foster relationships and enhance audience engagement. You will also help in compiling performance reports to gauge the effectiveness of our social media strategies.

You'll work closely with our GTM Lead and with other teams, such as engineering and business development, to understand their needs and develop communication initiatives that support their goals. You will have a designer who will help you with social media images and videos. Knowledge of design is not necessary, but a keen eye for aesthetics is a plus.

To be successful in this role, you should have a deep understanding of the AI / LLM space, excellent copywriting skills, and a pulse on the latest trends in tech.

Given the global nature of our team, you should be able to adapt your communication style to effectively engage with team members from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Responsibilities:

• Create content on AI and data related topics, including X threads, LinkedIn carousels, blog articles, and more. You will have the support of an in-house designer.

• Develop and execute social media strategies (X, LinkedIn, YouTube).

• Schedule posts, maintain social media calendars, and monitor social media channels.

• Track and report on social media performance and engagement metrics.

• Engage with our community and KOLs by replying to their comments on social media channels (i.e. reply-guying).

• Stay on top of trends in tech and AI, and create timely content on trending topics (i.e. newsjacking).

• Create content for founders' personal brands (i.e. founder-led marketing).

• Collaborate with other teams to understand their needs and develop communication initiatives that support their goals.

Requirements:

• AI / LLM knowledge: You have a deep understanding of the AI / LLM / data space (how models are built, evaluated, and improved) and can speak credibly to it. Marketing experience is a plus, not a must.

• Excellent copywriting skills and the ability to produce compelling content across various channels.

• Basic understanding of social media platforms and analytics tools.

• Ability to create AI workflows and successfully integrate tools such as Claude Cowork, Codex, and AI agents into your daily work.

• A passion for the AI space and a desire to make a positive impact on the industry.

• Excited about working from our gorgeous Mountain View office (hybrid schedule).

• Fluent / native in English.

Nice to have:

• 1+ years of experience in social media or marketing.

• Experience with community management and community engagement on social media platforms.

• Experience building social media channels from scratch.

• Experience with LinkedIn and X paid ads.

• Experience with SEO and AEO.

• Experience working in the AI data space.

• A strong personal brand on social media.

Compensation & Benefits

The base salary for this position is $100,000 - $160,000 USD annually.

Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. Base pay and variable compensation are part of the Total Package provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work at Abaka AI.

This role is also eligible for equity, as well as a comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, PTO, flexible work schedule).
