Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)Status: Part Time Hourly FLSA classification: Non-ExemptSummary of the Position: Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) is a non-traditional way of providing intense individualized mental health interventions and support services in a variety of community-based settings to children/adolescents with psychiatric diagnoses and their families.These settings include, but are not limited to home, school, community settings (camp, daycare, etc.).The BHT is supervised by a Qualified Mental Health Professional, participates as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team and implements specific treatment goals.Their goal is to implement sound clinical interventions and supportive services to enable children/adolescents to maintain and function to the best of their ability in the least restrictive setting.Availability to work flexible hours up to 40 hours per week. Hourly Rate: $18.00 per hourQualifications/Requirements:Must meet one of the following:High School Diploma or Equivalent and ability to completed 40+ hours of training ORMinimum of 2 years of experience of provision of behavioral health services ORBehavioral Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification from accredited organization ORCertification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT)Experience working with at-risk youth and familiesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience using an Electronic Health Record System (EHR) is a plus.Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsPosition requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverageBilingual (Spanish) is a plusBenefits Available:Voluntary DentalVoluntary VisionUNUM Supplemental InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program403(b) Retirement Savings Plan.Pet InsuranceWeekly PayDirect DepositYouth Advocate Programs, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
