Shop Foreman

U‑Haul operates the largest fleet of trucks and trailers in the industry, and we need a first‑class team to keep them maintained for our customers. As a Shop Foreman, you will act as the right hand of the Shop Manager to keep the shop running smoothly. Primary Responsibilities Schedule and coordinate equipment flow into and within the shop. Guide repair personnel to maximize efficiency. Act under direction of the shop manager. Make well‑informed decisions regarding equipment repair. Team members may assist in additional areas as directed by supervisor. Minimum Qualifications Experience dismounting, balancing, and mounting tires. Experience in automotive operating systems and technology. Expertise with vehicle batteries and electrical systems. Understanding of vehicle‑collision repair and estimating. Ability to build and rebuild trailer components including brake system and equalizers. Familiarity with automotive measuring and diagnostic tools. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Physical Demands The work requires physical exertion such as lifting up to 50 lbs, moving in and out of tight spaces, and operating tools.
