Business Development Lead

A well-established, employee-owned engineering consulting firm is seeking a Business Development Lead to support the continued growth of its Central Texas operations. This is a highly visible role that blends business development, client relationship management, marketing, and proposal coordination while partnering with senior leadership to expand the firm's presence in the region. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain relationships with clients, architects, and industry partners. Support business development initiatives, client outreach, and market research. Coordinate proposals, qualifications packages, presentations, and interview materials. Track project opportunities, RFQs/RFPs, and maintain CRM data. Plan client meetings, networking events, conferences, and sponsorship activities. Collaborate with leadership and marketing teams to support regional growth strategies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. 5+ years of business development, marketing, or proposal coordination experience, preferably within the AEC industry. Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills. Experience with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, and Adobe InDesign. Ability to travel regularly between Round Rock, San Antonio, and occasionally Fort Worth.
