Mechanical Assembly Technician TesterLocation - Northbrook, IL Monday – Friday | 5:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.We have partnered with a well-established manufacturing company in Northbrook that is looking to add a reliable and motivated Mechanical Assembly Technician to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, working with tools, and learning new skills in a team-oriented environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform testing to positioners using hand tools including screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, and Allen (L) wrenchesRead and follow blueprints and assembly instructionsAssemble mechanical components accurately and efficientlyUse basic computer systems to navigate work instructions and processesMaintain a clean and organized workspaceWork collaboratively with team members to meet production goalsQualificationsPrevious mechanical assembly experience preferredComfortable using hand toolsAbility to read blueprints and wiring diagramsBasic computer skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to read and write in EnglishStrong work ethic and willingness to learnSelf-motivated, dependable, and a team playerPreferred (But Not Required)Experience with any of the following is a plus:OscilloscopesVoltmetersPower suppliesGears, motors, or encoders
