Senior Full Stack Developer

Contract consulting opportunity for a Senior Full Stack Developer.


Client Requirements:

• Must be local to Minneapolis, MN area, will be onsite 2 days/week
• W2 hourly only (no C2C)
• Work authorization status: US Citizen or GC holder

What you'll do : Join an engineering team and help build the internal platform that powers application deployments, infrastructure provisioning, and cloud operations across AWS, Kubernetes, and data center environments. This is an opportunity to work on enterprise-scale platform engineering while mentoring other developers and influencing technical direction.

• Design, develop, and enhance internal platform engineering solutions.
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop primarily backend services (70%+) with some full-stack development.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve platform scalability, reliability, and deployment processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.
• Participate in architecture and system design discussions.

What We're Looking For

• 5-10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong full-stack development background with an emphasis on backend development.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Experience with Kubernetes/EKS, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and Argo CD.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Ruby, Java, or Python (Ruby experience is a plus, but willingness to learn is essential).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
• Experience with platform engineering, infrastructure automation, or internal developer platforms is highly preferred.

The W2 pay range for this type of role is approximately $75.00 - 85.00 per billable hour. This range is an estimate and not a guarantee of compensation.
