Title: Associate Manufacturing Technician
Location: 100 Nagog Park, Acton Massachusetts 01720
Shift: Monday to Thursday (6am - 6:30pm) & (6pm to 6:30am)
Pay rate: $24 - $27/hr on W2
Job Summary- We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician I to support the operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of highly automated equipment in a medical device manufacturing environment.
- The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on manufacturing experience, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and perform basic preventative maintenance on automated manufacturing equipment.
- Monitor HMIs, clear machine faults/stoppages, and maintain raw material feeds.
- Perform equipment inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and basic repairs.
- Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools to verify tolerances.
- Support quality, process validation, equipment validation, and new product activities.
- Follow GMPs, SOPs, safety requirements, and cleanroom procedures.
- Work independently and collaboratively to identify and resolve mechanical and process issues.
Requirements
- High school diploma with 3+ years of manufacturing experience .
- Experience with automated equipment, HMIs, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Medical device, cleanroom, robotics, or discrete assembly experience preferred.
- Experience with laser/ultrasonic welding, heat staking, PCB handling, or automated assembly is a plus.
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
