Recruiter

Our client is a media organization providing diverse programming, trusted news, and community-focused educational services across TV and digital platforms. The Recruiter will manage full-cycle recruitment efforts to attract, engage, and hire high-quality talent, supporting organizational staffing needs. This is a full time, contract position, onsite, based in Arlington, VA, with a pay range of $35-$43 per hour. Responsibilities Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, partnering with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop strategies. Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, networks, and community organizations. Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, coordinate interviews, and support the hiring process. Prepare offers, coordinate background checks, and ensure timely onboarding. Maintain applicant records, ensure compliance with employment laws, and support onboarding activities. Build talent pipelines and promote the organization’s brand through outreach and recruitment marketing. Track recruitment metrics, analyze data, and support continuous process improvements. Required qualifications High School Diploma / GED; BA/BS preferred. 0-2 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or human resources. Proficiency with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of employment laws and best practices. Preferred qualifications Experience sourcing candidates through multiple channels and conducting assessments. Professional certifications in human resources or recruitment are a plus.
