Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping and accounting operations using QuickBooks Online.
• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR), including customer invoicing, payment tracking, and collections.
• Process Accounts Payable (AP), vendor invoices, and payments.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Manage purchasing, vendor accounts, and payment records.
• Prepare and track progress billing for construction and service projects.
• Monitor job costs, expenses, and project-related financial records.
• Assist with monthly financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records.
• Ensure accounting tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on QuickBooks experience, preferably QuickBooks Online.
• Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience in the construction, HVAC, or service industry is REQUIRED.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or Full-Charge Bookkeeper.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Experience with purchasing, vendor management, and progress billing.
• Understanding of job costing and project accounting.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Stable, verifiable employment history and professional references required.
